Welcome to another month at Bingo Radio and throughout March we’re providing more chances to win bigger prizes! Plus, we’ve swapped around the schedule this month so that we’re with you live on Saturday between 7pm and midnight.

Here’s what to listen out for…

7.30 The Secret Seven returns! This time the prize pot starts at £25 and grows by £2 per night until someone wins big! We pay £5 each time one of the songs is guessed so it’s worth a listen. Our last winner was imdesperate who walked away with over £100!

Between 8 and 9pm it’s The Bingo Radio Goldrush! Just keep listening out for a song with the word GOLD in its title, and when you hear one simply email the word GOLD to studio@bingoradio.com and you could win one of two 100% deposit golden envelopes. These can be used on Saturdays only, but are worth up to £100 each! Players are also allocated a number from 1 to 8, and the player whose number is called first on the 8pm Village Inn game on the Saturday wins £25. (Players must email support to receive the bonus, and must claim the £25 prize from the host before the end of the game.)

9.30 Golden Goose – The GameVillage Goose has laid an egg, and it’s your job to guess how much the egg is worth – it could be anything from just a pound to a whopping £30! Listen out for the goose laying the egg at 9.30 an then email your guess to studio@bingoradio.com – it’s limited to one guess per player, but you’ll have 15 minutes to get your email to the studio.

For the month of March at 10.00 it’s The Golden Hour! Just like the GameVillage 10@10 except for one rule – your request must be a golden oldie, so no songs from the past 11 years please. We pay for each song we play, either £2, £10 if you’re lucky and win the bonus, or 1,000 points if you’re a free player.

11.00 Elevenses continues in March, with more songs on a theme chosen by a listener, we’re still looking for more ideas and there’s a £5 reward for every theme that’s used.

And at the later time of 12.00 we go Mellow After Midnight with 30 minutes of relaxing tunes to round off the night

It’s nearly that time again of year again…

Yes, love is in the air as we head towards St Valentine’s Day on Monday 14th February. But here at Bingo Radio we’ve decided we can’t wait until then. So, starting this Saturday evening at 8pm we’ll be playing a song with the word LOVE in the title (and there are lots of them!) every hour until 8am. Whenever you hear a song with the word LOVE in the title, just email LOVE to support@gamevillage.com for a chance to win a fantastic prize!

There are also some changes on Friday and Monday as Mark heads off to Prague for a few days to celebrate his birthday (we hear it’s minus 5 over there – let’s hope he gets a scarf, hat and gloves as a present). This means there will be no live show until Tuesday, when the Secret Seven will be worth nearly £200 and all of February’s regular games and competitions continue as normal.

You might have noticed, there’s a musical theme to February at Game Village and Bingo Radio.

Plus, we have more chances for you to win each night with our games this month. Here are the details of what’s coming up on our nightly live show…

8-9pm The Big Bingo Radio Music Quiz – just like a real pub quiz, you’ll be listening out during the hour for five music trivia questions, send in your answers at 8.45pm and we’ll announce 4 winners by 9pm who win will random amounts up to £10

9.30 Wally ‘n’ Hum – Wally, along with his band The Village Idiots, will be performing the intro to a well-known song, without any instruments. If you can work out the song from the first 15 seconds, you can win £10 or £5 if you need to hear more.

10.00 The Game Village Ten At Ten – ten winning songs played back to back, each of them chosen by Bingo Radio listeners, worth either £2, a bonus £10 or if you’re a free player, 1,000 points.

11pm Elevenses – 20 minutes of songs on a theme, chosen by a Bingo Radio listener, with a prize of £5 for whoever’s theme is chosen. You can email studio@bingoradio.com at any time with suggestions for a theme, but please include two example songs.

11.30pm Mellow Until Midnight – we round off the show with some of the most beautiful, laid-back, chilled-out, soft and mellow songs for 30 minutes.

Now you can win on Saturday Night with Bingo Radio. Between 7pm and midnight, we’re playing songs on a particular theme. Each time you think you hear one, just follow the instructions below. Remember, it must be between the hours of 7pm-midnight.

Here at Bingo Radio, we’re big Bond fans, and tonight we’ll be playing some of the better-known songs from the Bond films. Hello everyone. Well, better late than never!

There’s a new look to Bingo Radio’s live show starting tonight (Tuesday) with lots of new games and some juggling of old favourites. The Bingo Jukebox has transformed into the GameVillage Ten At Ten, with 10 randomly chosen requests and a chance to win up to £10 each night – at the later time of 10 o’clock.

Our infuriating guess-the-song game The Secret Seven returns each night at 7.30. Frustrating it may be, but there’s potential to win hundreds of pounds here, as we add more money to the pot each night! Trivia buffs can also win one of our Pieces of Eight between 8-9PM by answering questions worth up to £8 each, where the answer contains the number eight.

The GameVillage idiot is back each night with Wally’s Magic Wand at 9.30. He’ll be conjuring up an object and describing it to you – and if you can work out what it is from his first clue, you can win £10. Otherwise, it’s a chance to win £5 by the second clue and £2 by the third.

There’s even more happening in the last hour of the show with a 15 minute segment called Elevenses between 11-11.15pm. There’ll be a £5 reward for whoever chooses that night’s theme and can come up with three relevant songs as an example – the theme changes every night so there are lots of chances to win!

And to round things off, for those who can’t take the pace and are starting to feel sleepy, the final 30 minutes of the show is dedicated to some of the most beautiful, soothing, relaxing, romantic, chilled and laidback songs of all-time as Bingo Radio goes Mellow Until Midnight.

Tonight’s show (Thursday) on Bingo Radio is the last live show before Christmas, so I’d just like to take this opportunity to thank you all for listening over the past 12 months and I hope you have a fantastic festive weekend.

Although not live, there are special shows for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day on Bingo Radio at the usual time of 7-midnight. The Bingo Jukebox will be there, with chances to win £2 or £5 (make your request via the GameVillage forum before the end of today) plus dedications and other requests.

On Christmas Eve at 10pm, you’ll get to hear this year’s GameVillage/Bingo Radio Christmas Song featuring vocals provided by CH Linda, Debs, Ray, Val and Diana – this year some chickened out, others I couldn’t get hold of. The song is dedicated to our one and only village idiot, Wally.

On the subject of Wally, his final Christmas Balls are drawn on Christmas Eve at 9.30pm and he’ll be with us on Christmas Day, picking Lucky Numbers that can win you £10 each time. Thanks to everyone for making the 3rd annual Game Village meet in Doncaster go with a swing! There were many memorable moments but our plans to bring you a taste of proceedings on the night was let down by a lack of wifi. It just goes to show how useless technology is if there’s no internet connection available! Never mind. Our cameras were still rolling, and once we’ve got permission from those featured in a few short films, we’ll upload them here for you to see.
