Love is in the air during February at Bingo Radio as we celebrate the month of lurve with some lovely games and prizes to make your heart flutter. Of course, we’ll have a special show on Valentine’s Tuesday with extra special prizes PLUS we’re back on Saturdays to spread the love even further!

But, starting Wednesday 1^st February, here’s how you can win each night:

8.00   Wally’s Cupid-Loids – our village idiot is back each night with three chances to win £3. Have you heard of Ditloids? Don’t worry if not, you’ll soon get the hang of them. Wally will have three romantically-themed Ditloid puzzles for you to decipher each night using just initials – e.g. clue: love letter SWALK – answer: Sealed With A Loving Kiss. Listen out from 8pm for more details on how to join in.

9.00   Chat Host Challenge – as you all know, the Game Village chat hosts love to set you quizzes for a chance to win bonuses. But now we turn the tables! Each night at 9pm I’ll be asking you to pose (reasonable!) questions for the chat hosts to answer. They’ll have a strict 10 second time limit to answer each question correctly – if they fail, you’ll win £3 otherwise it’s a £1 consolation prize if they get it right in time. There will be three chances to win in the hour.

10.00 Game Village 10@10 – your chance to choose the music continues throughout February. Mark will be taking your requests from 9.45 each evening, and if your email is chosen at random, you’ll not only get to hear the song you’ve chosen, but also win a £2 prize (homeowners only).

11.00 We Love Music – Mark will be playing 15 minutes of music from a chosen artist to round off each evening. There’ll be a £3 prize for the person who selects each night’s band or artist and a further two lots of £3 for requests chosen at random.

I Just Called to Hear “I Love you” – want to win £10? We have a crisp tenner to give away each evening, but you’ll need to share your phone number with us and be ready to answer with the phrase that pays. We’ll start taking emails for this from 7.30 each evening and Mark could be calling at any time. If your phone rings, make sure you answer it with “I Love You” to win the tenner, otherwise it’s a £1 consolation prize.

There are three chances to win £3 between 9 and 10pm as Mark asks, “Is The Price Right?” If you can correctly guess the value of everyday items as sold by some of the UK’s best-known high street shops (to the nearest pound without going over) then you could be a winner.

The Game Village 10@10 returns at 10pm with more chances to choose the music and win £2 into the bargain.

Tune in to Game Village’s very own radio station Bingo Radio from 7pm this evening.

Between 7-9pm you’ll hear some of the best songs from the past 12 months followed by a whole hour’s worth of some of the most requested songs of all time at Bingo Radio.

Then at 10pm we kick off our non-stop disco party, taking a short break around midnight to welcome in the new year, before the party songs continue until 1am.

December will be magic at Bingo Radio…

Season’s Greetings from Bingo Radio! We’re getting into the Christmas spirit early this year, with a feast of festive hits on-air from this evening (Thursday 1^st December) and if you’d like to choose your own particular favourite you can email studio@bingoradio.com in the
usual way, or listen out for details on how to record your own special Christmas message or dedication.

We’ll have more details on this year’s Game Village Christmas Song later in the month, with a chance for you to win a pot of cash on Christmas Day with Bingo Radio and the chat hosts.

Plus starting on the 3^rd December, Bingo Radio is Live on Saturday replacing the usual Monday show, make sure you tune in on Saturday night for more chances to win!

Talking of winning, here are the details for the live show throughout December:

(from 1^st December through to Xmas Eve)

At 8.00 each night, you’ll have a chance to win with Wally’s Christmas Balls! Our resident village idiot will be picking three numbers from his bingo machine, and if your number matches Wally’s you can win £3! Just be ready to email studio@bingoradio.com with your three
numbers at around 8pm.

Each night in December at 9.00, we’ll be opening a door on the Bingo Radio Advent Calendar numbered from 1 to 25, and you can win what’s behind – it could be cards, points or cash, including a special £25 prize.

We’ll be finding out what’s in Santa’s Sack each night at 9.30. Listen out for the description of a classic Christmas gift (it could be a toy, something you can eat, something you can wear, etc.) and if you can identify it correctly, you can win £3.

The Festive 10@10 gives you a chance to choose the music at 10.00 – including your favourite Christmas songs – plus if your song is chosen and played, you’ll also win £2. Requests are accepted from 9.45 through until 10.20 each night.

Listen out for other special chances to win as we celebrate Christmas and begin the countdown to the New Year at Bingo Radio and Game Village.

There’s an International flavour to Bingo Radio this month as we go on an extended vacation.

 Of course, we’d never get anywhere without a mode of transport so during the live show this month there will be various songs that mention planes, trains, cars, bikes, boats and more. Each time you hear one, simply send the word mentioned in the song title (e.g. JET PLANE) to studio@bingoradio.com for a chance to win £3! 

Between 8-9pm we go Around the World with some of the world’s biggest artists – but do you know their true nationality? We’ll be asking you where some of the biggest names in music have their roots. If you can name the country they’re associated with you can win £3. 

We’ve sent A Village Idiot Abroad all this month, with Wally jetting around the planet on a worldwide voyage. Each night at 9pm he’ll be phoning in with clues as to his location and if you think you know where he is, you could win up to £10! 

The Game Village 10@10 returns each weeknight from 10pm with more chances to request some of your favourite songs. Remember – if your song is played you will win £2 (1,000 points for non-homeowners). Emails for the Game Village 10@10 accepted between 9.45 and 10.15pm. 

Finally, did you know that many artists have recorded foreign language versions of their hits? Everyone from Blondie, David Bowie, Phil Collins – er, even Bucks Fizz have done it. Whenever you hear a song that doesn’t sound quite how it should, email its English name to studio@bingoradio.com and you could win £3!

Bingo Radio is back tonight with our Halloween spooktacular from 7pm!

You can expect a selection of ghoulish songs and some blood-curdling competitions!

At various points in the evening you’ll be invited to play Trick or Treat with the chat hosts. You’ll need to pick one of the hosts who have recorded a special message which could be a trick or a treat – if you’re chosen to play and you bag a treat, it could be worth anything up to £10! 

Wolfy will be loose tonight. When you hear him howl, email the word WOLFY to studio@bingoradio.com and you could win £3 each time around. 

At 8.30pm you’ll be invited to guess the weight of the enormous Bingo Radio Pumpkin in stones and lbs – it really is that big! Whoever comes closest can win that amount in cash (for example, if it’s 2 stones and 4 lbs that means you can win £2.40) 

We have a special Game Village 10 @ 10 with wall-to-wall Halloween requests, worth £3 each. Requests can be sent to studio@bingoradio.com from 9.45pm onwards. 

Halloween is all about surprises – not necessarily nasty – so keep listening for more details of on-the-spot competitions and prizes throughout the evening.

Well, BINGO RADIO is officially three years old as of today (Sunday) and we’re live on-air from 5pm with giveaways, requests and some nostalgia. The chat hosts are getting involved too, don’t miss out!

As you may have already noticed, this month Bingo Radio is celebrating its third birthday! We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who’s helped to make the station a success since our launch on October 9^th 2008.
